Well, creating a homepage seemed like fun. Then again, I write stories about Japanese cartoon characters for fun, so perhaps that's just me. I'm trying to differ this homepage from the standard fanfic homepage by having more than just my stories, but also some background details which try to show what went on behind the scenes. I hope this doesn't seem too self-absorbed...
This page includes completed stories, series in continuation, rough drafts of series, notes on random stuff, and links to various pages. I'll be updating and changing things quite a bit, as I get time and as I feel like it.
My only real series, concentrating on the melodrama that arises from Ranma getting engaged to Nabiki. The most popular of my stuff, although I have mixed feelings about it.
So grouped because they're named after White Album songs or bootlegs. A bunch of lightweight Ranma short stories, varying between farce and melodrama. I think they're all interesting reads.
A bunch of short Ranma stories, all of which take themselves too seriously ^_^. "Kreutzer" needs a re-write and will become "God", and "That Crawling Baby Blues" was completely overhauled to become "Hold On." White Albums were only named after the songs, while these stories try to imitate the feel of the album.
And I really do have musical interests outside the Beatles. Believe it or not. ^_^
I like the "OMG!" series, but the story is so inanely stupid it begs to be probed deeper. This results in fanfic which is kind of different from the other "OMG!" fics out there. I am very fond of these writings.
I don't know if this'll be interesting or not...but here are some stories I'm either working on, gave up and use for spare parts, or haven't decided on the status of yet. These stories may not live up to the incredibly high standards of my completed fics.
I make a conscious effort to not write in imitation of other authors. At the same time, it would be silly to claim I'm not influenced by the fanfics that I enjoy. Here are a few of my favorites. My main qualifier is originality of the work.
A HUGE influence on my early works, what got me interested in writing in the first place, was the works of Deirdre, an author on A.S.S. I still think her stuff is the best fiction released on the 'Net. Here are a few of my favorites.
In my evil plot to addict the world to anime, I posted this review of "Kiki's Delivery Service" to Rec.Arts.Movie.Reviews.
Not fitting into my categorization is the first story I released, a Ranma/Star Trek crossover. I regret releasing this one, and that's why I hide it at the end of the page ^_^.
I have two people who I'd like to thank for helping me with this page. The first is Mr. "Demonmaniac" Barrerra, for providing artwork for the page (which I'll have up soon, so only his "random" is currently available.) Secondly, thanks to Mr. "PhoneyNT" Ward for programming a .txt/.bob to .html converter for me. Without it I never would have had the patience or time to even attempt a page.
