Actually, the translation of Usagi/Serena as "Princess Serenity" has often
been hotly debated because some INSIST that it should be "Princess
Selenity"-- (of course, this is all related to the whole L/R thing... like
how Lan/Ran and other R-or-L names are spelled varying ways, but aside from
that...) inticating Selene, which would make Mamarou's/Darien's status as
Prince Endymion make more sense. Actually, it was stated by the authoress
herself that Sailormoon is based on this legend (read the Sailormoon
interview with Nakao in the latest Animerica.... great article with nice
pictures... Viz did it right!)... Hehe just thought I would let yat know....
