And speaking about Akane's future, what other goals might she have?  This 
is the only hobby Akane seemed to show (that I've read, and I admit, I'm 
not very well read in the Takahashi universe), aside from martial arts- 
and Ranma's already got that area covered.  She'd hardly be a model house 
wife, nor would I imagine her wanting to be one.  ^_^  I find it 
perfectly legitimate for fanfic writers to have her aspiring to be an 
actress...  Why not?  Would you rather writers decide she wants to become 
oh, a teacher?

Well, aside from martial-arts, Akane's interested in all sports (note her
being on virtually every Furinkan girls team, for varying reasons), so PE
(Ranma's assumed U studies) would also suit her.  Also, Hinako notes that
Akane is her best student, so, it's _possible_ that English would be
another area of study.

Now why the hell did I actually respond like that?  @_@  Damn...urge to
