Actually, IMHO viz uses excessively 'Tame' translations.
Much of what the Ranma cast say in japanese could be translated
more crudely.
"Temee" in vizspeak is "why you"
but could be more like, "Yo! Asshole!"
Usually, it's severety is somewhere in between.
"Kisama" is also translated as "hey you" etc,
but it's a rather derogatory term.
I'd probably think of it as something between "You slimy, filthy animal"
and something 'unprintable'
The ranma cast also uses Chikusho quite a bit, which however, nowadays
isn't much more severe than "Damn it."
I do believe I've heard some instances of "Kuso" = "shit" quite literally,
but I don't think the term is quite as offensive in Japanese.
In any case, the viz translations are a bit on the 'soft' side.
