P.S.- Attribute this to my own stupidity, but when did Ranma
learn the Shishi Hokudan?
When Ryouga first learned it, Ranma tried to learn it as well. He had
limited success, doing the 'lesser' version of the SSH. After a while, he
switched over to the Moko.... somethinorother... MTB. Ryouga went on to
perfect the technique (the blast field is a full 360 degrees around him
when the SSH is at it's most powerful). This particular trick, Ranma
never learned how to do. But then, he's got the Hiryuu SHouten-ha...
I thought Shishi Hokudan was Ryouga's major technique because
it was fueled by depression. According to the fanfics I've read (nope,
haven't seen or read any of the original material), Ryouga is the most
depressed person on earth. I don't think this technique would work as well
for Ranma since he has a different personality. Ranma's Mouko Takabishya
is fueled by confidence--something Ranma has a lot of when it comes to
martial arts and macho stuff.
If what I said above is correct (no guarantee since my sources are
second-hand), then I don't believe that Ranma would use Shishi Hokudan at
all. His chi-attack is Mouko Takabishya (or any other alternate spelling of
this
there is out there).

the movie and obviously likes Ranma 1/2)
