        I'm not saying he wouldn't kill Ryouga, in fact I prefer that he
does.  It's just a way for everybody to lose all around, hence a true
darkfic.  Ryouga dies after years of anguish, the Saotomes are still messed
up, Fukushuu well I dunno... in killing his dad he seems to achieve his own
'happy' ending.

Does he? I don't think so. After spending his entire life preparing and 
hunting Ryouga, what does he do once the jobs done? His life becomes as 
empty and pointless as Ryouga's. In the end, it's a case of, "like 
father, like son"

        I just prefer misery and death all around I guess.
