OTOH, given the way things go in the x-books, it would be 
*extremely* unusual for there not to be at least one mutant in Nerima.  
Hiroshi or Sayuri, perhaps?  ("Why didn't you ever TELL us?!?"  "Well, 
gee, Ranma.  You seemed to have so many problems of your own, it didn't 
seem like a good idea to burden you with it.")

You know, I could see that happening.  It could be a good tag for the end of
the story.
Then some one who wants to capture/kill Hiroshi or Sayuri shows up and
someone in the cast goes "Here we go again!"
