Ranma: Dark Empire
Part 3 One bird with two stones.
--------------------------------
Ranma slowly crawled through the access shaft. He was forced to stop
when a grate appeared beside him , and he could see, at head level Kuno
himself.
"Oh shit!" Ranma muttered. He pasued to listen to Kuno's conversation.
"So, what is the news from Hikawa?" said Kuno. He was dressed in his
black Armor and robes. One of his hands rested on the hilt of the
powersword at his waist.
"My Prince, Commander Leddux has placed the planet under martial law,
and has searched the entire planet. She has found the remains of a rebel base,
but it was abandoned shortly before she arrived." said the gray unifromed
officer before Kuno.
"What of the Rebel fleet?"
"No sign of them, but Ion trails leaving Hikawa do seem to fit with the
ships used by the rebels."
"Excelant, everything is falling into place. Spread the fleet out, I
want every star system to have at least on ship in it!" Kuno waves his arms
around.
"But sire! That would spread our forces very thin. And most of our
captians will not go near certin systems!"
"Captian Naveed, you will have them go to the Tyrant's Cluster, I
don't care about legends of some god-like entite that is suppost to protect
the 7 systems from all intrusive forces."
"But sire, 12 of our ships have entered that cluster and haven't been
seen again! None of our captain will go near it...well, at least most of
them..."
"If you have to bring out Macek, do it! I want to find that fleet!"
Kuno waves his arms in the air again, and walks out of the room.
"Why couldn't of he stayed stupid...." Captain Naveed walks out of the
room.
"Holy shit! Kuno is crazy! But if he does find the fleet....no matter
now, I must find Akane." Ranma continues crawling along the shaft.
Akane awoke in a small cell, craved from rock. The air was dry, the
room dimly lit, with the only light comming from a very small slit window.
Akane stands upon the rock bed to look out of it. She is greated by the sight
of a massive wall of Rock, nearly a kilometer high.
"I'm on Arrakis..." Akane thought to herself. She sits upon the bed
and begins to cry.
A skinny, sickly looking man dressed in a black unifrom, similer to
Nabiki's come down the hall, and is stopped by a guard.
" Lt. Commander Gosankugi of 2nd office." says Gosankugi to the guard,
who runs his key card through the scanner, the guard nods, the door opens, and
Gosankugi enters.
He sits down in a chair in a empty room, and pulls out a small vail of
poweder.
The wall facing him opens up and A vertical table, with Akane strapped
to it comes out.
"Ah...Akane Tendo, such an honor for I shall be the first of interagat
you." said Gosankugi.
Akane spits of him.
"Now now, that's isin't nessacary..." Gosankugi takes the top of the
vail and engests the contents. "Ah! Such a marvolus thing! Now, shall we begin?"
he puts his hands on Akane's arm, and closes his eyes.
Akane screams.
Nabiki walks back to her quaters, followign the evening meal.
"God, I hope this ends soon, I can't take it, I can't eat as much as I
could be..." she stops as a hand grabs her and takes her into a closet.
"Heh..I've been waiting along time for this!" says a man's voice.
Nabiki can smell rum on his breath. She reachs for her gun, but the
larger man takes her hand and pins it to her side.
"No no...I'll show you something much better." The man takes Nabiki's
hand and presses it in to his pants. "Heh, now my turn." the Man began to run
his hand along Nabiki's leg.
Nabiki had some hand to hand combat skill, but she knew it was useless
aganst a man this size, and from his unifrom, he was a member of the Dread
troopers, a Comander at that. Suddenly, the man was taken of her. Nabiki looked
up and saw Titus holding the Commanders head in his hand.
"Now, this isn't how you treat a lady." said Titus, and he crushed the
skull of the commander. Blood, brains, and bits of skull flew every were.
Nabiki turned and threw up.
"Hmmm, get up." said Titus.
Nabiki wips her mouth and stands up.
"Now, what to do with you? Hmmm? My 'white-knight' got the better of me,
now I exposed my self to you." Titus pulls out his plasma pistol. "It looks'
like I'm going to have to kill you. He point the pistol at Nabiki.
Nabiki stands back, she dosen't know what to make of this. All she
know's is she's going to have to change her underwear.
"No bother." Titus blurs out of sight.
Nabiki colapses.
Akari is sitting on her small bed, staring at the photo that Nabiki had
givin her when suddenly the grate on the celing fall down with a loud clang,
and Ranma jumps out.
"Akane? is that you?"
"No, it's Akari! Ranma!" Akari gets off the bed and Hugs Ranma."Is
Ryoga with you?"
"I'm alone, where Akane?"
"I don't know, but she's abord, I think, Nabiki said thay they were
going to take her to Arrakis."
"Arrakis!"
"Oh Ranma, I'm so sorry, but at least you save me?" Akari looked up at
him with big bright eyes (as bright as someone who has lived under florecant
lights for a year can).
"Uh yea...lets go." Ranma Leaps up and grabs the shaft.
"Um...Ranma, I can't reach that..."
"Oh...um..." Ranma leaps down and help Akari take hold of the shaft,
and she crawls through. Ranma follows.
The crawl through the shaft, searching for Ranma's entrance. After
what seems like hours, the final find it.
"Made it, now, where's Titus?" Ranma looks around.
Right at the moment, Titus's phase thingy runs out of power, and the
bad thing about this, it that he's right in the middel of Kuno and his honor
guard.
"Oh bloody hell!" Titus yells and pulls out his shot gun and fires.
with that first shot, he takes out three guards, and then dodges the fire of
the other 20.
"Get him, you fools!" Yell's Kuno as the draws his sword.
Titus takes another shot, felling two more guard and takes off down the
hall.
"I said get him!" Kuno waves his sword and the Guards run off.
Titus runs down the hall, dodging fire from the guards and the crew
that are in the halls. At one point, Titus drops his shotgun and pulls out his
plasma pistol. dozens of tiny stars blast forth, incinerating anything caught
in it's fire. He then turns again and runs.
"Damn, he's the one's with the keys!" Ranma kicks the hatch in anger.
"Calm down..." Akari looks down the hall. "Is that him?" She points to
Titus, and about 100 imperial troopers, from Honor Guards, Dread Troopers,
Navel Troopers, and reservest behind
him.
"Shit!" was all Ranma could say as he unslung his rifle.
"Hey, looks like a party, here's a presant for our guests." Titus pulls
a gernade from his armor and throws it down the hall. He then turns and pushes
the button marked "open" on the hatch and climbs in, just as the gernade goes
off. Ranma and Akari are fast to follow him.
"What the hell was that?!" yelled Ranma at Titus as Titus slid into
his chair.
"Um, a party? Get you're lady friend strapped down and get into the
turret, I don't want any of those CAF fighters shooting up my ship." said
Titus. Titus pushes a button and the ship
drifts for a second, then the engins cut in, sending the ship forward.
Ranma climbed into the turret and looked at the Ship. "They're not
fireing!"
"That's becasue the ships armaments are desinged to deal with larger
craft, were to small, but watch for enemy fighters."
Kuno storms into the bridge, his armor smoking and face black with
carbon. He knocks a officer off the cat walk as he passes.
"Launce all CAF wings! I want those terrorest dead! Launch! Launch!"
Kuno yelles and waved his arms around, and the crew pits jumped into action.
Within seconds of Kuno's orders, 4 of the 10 CAF wings abord the ship were
launched.
"Kilo-Romeo-1, this is Charlie-Delta-1, we have target in visual site,
commencing attack." Came the pilot of the lead CAF.
"Charlie-Delta-1, this is Kilo-Romeo-1, understood, target must be
complty destroyed. You have the Emperor's blessing." Came the word from an
operator abord the Ship.
Ranma Looked at the 100 CAF's comming at them. "Here they come." Ranma
said, and amied the cannon at the swarm.
The CAFs flew in perfect formation, and launched their attacks in a
unifrom fashion.
That just made it easier for Ranma to blast them out of space.
"Alright! Got him!" Ranma squeeded off anther burst and got 3.
"Don't get cocky!" Titus said, as he dodged the fire from the ships
infront of him.
"YOU FOOL! GET THEM! A MILLION STADERD YEN TO WHOEVER LANDS THE FINAL
SHOT!" yells Kuno into a microphone.
Ranma continues to blast the fighters out of space, but there always
seems to be more.
"Damn! Can't we make the jump to light speed?" asked Ranma.
"No! Kuno's ship must be projecting some kind of Gravity well or
something that keeps us here!" said Titus.
"Shit!" Ranma said.
Akari, strapped into her chair, looks down at the photo of Ryoga. "Oh
Ryoga...I hope I can hold you once again...". She clutches the photo ot her
brest and begins to weep.
Some where, in rocky plain, with only a few purple lizards and yellow
shrubs, two lone figures walk.
"Ryoga! You idiot! Where are we now!" yelled a manly dressed woman,
with a spatula strapped to her backpack, and a bandoler of smaller spatulas
across her chest.
"Ukyo! you know I can't help it!" said Ryoga. He is wearing a old
green SDI(1.) uniform. He is also wearing large black combat boots, a rifle
stapped to his backm and various knives, pistols, batons straped to his body.
he still wears those bandana's.
"I know! But I'd like for once we would know where we are! That's it!
I'm getting the GPS(2.) fixed !"
"What's the fun in....what! Akari!" Ryoga stoped in mid sentance, and
help his head.
"Ryoga! What is it! Akari?!" Ukyo comes to his side.
"Akari! She's...alive! but...in trouble...Imperial fighters...Ranma..."
Ryoga begins to glow blue. "AKARI!!!!!!!" He screams out.
"Hey! What the hell is this!" Ranma says as the ship begins to glow
blue.
"I don't know..." Titus says. "My goddess! What power! It must be
Ryoga! Only me, her and Ryoga have this type of power, but we would never use
it...Ryoga must be using it.." Titus though to himself, and then they were
gone.
"WHERE'D THEY GO!?" screamed Kuno as the ship disapeired in a flash of
blue light.
Ryoga looks at the ship before him. it's lower wings crushed by the
landing, and it's nose stuck in the ground, all crumpled and bent.
A door opens on the side.
Ryoga gasps.
Akari Steps out.
Ryoga and Akari run towards each other, but Ryoga trips and falls on
his nose.
Akari comes over and lays his head on her lap.
"OH Ryoga, I though I'd never see you again." Akari said, holding Ryoga
close to her breast.
"uhhhh...ahh...kaaaaa....riiiiiiii" was all Ryoga coul say as his head
swam.
"And Who's going to pay for my ships repairs?" said Titus as he stept
out on to the plain.
"Aww, you can buy a new one with the one my parents are paying you...
Ucchan!" Ranma sees Ukyo and Ukyo runs towards Ranam.
"Ranchan! How nice!" Ukyo hugs Ranma close.
"Uh yea...Um, there's some stuff I've got to disscuse." said Ranma
looking into Ukyo's eye's.
"Like what?" said Ukyo.

Postnotes: 1. SDI - Spacel Defense iniative. Kinda like Marines, save they
were in space.
2. GPS - Galaxtic Posistioning System. Same thing as the current
global Posistioning System.
