Oooh! Mike W. Loader's C&C of _Aftermath_ with Windir and Frito being
kidnapped. :)
Already up there, under the Institut Rats section
<http://www.tfs.net/~tbutler/FFC/FFCindex.html#Rats>. Hmmm. Speaking of
that... do you have a title you'd like to give your reviews, or do you
just want me to call 'em "Sebastian's Nutty Reviews"? ^_^
Um, I'm not quite sure whether I'll do something like this again.
There Are Ways. Trust me. (Note to self: team up with Sebastian to get
Mike to write more reviews. Team up with Mike to get Sebastian to write
more reviews. Natch.)
Although... We didn't clear away the projector and screen, yet. Perhaps
I'll use them for _The Ways of the Amazons_. :)
Good. You are beginning to see the light.
^_^
Seriously, I (can't speak for Biles, here) started doing fun fanfic
reviews because I thought it was important to say that C&C doesn't have
to be dull, dreary, or boring; you can have a lot of fun with a story,
and give the readers a lot of fun, while still giving a good analysis of
the story. The more people that can have fun with it, the happier I am...
not to mention I get to read more reviews w/o having to write 'em myself
or dragoon Jimbo back from durance vile a.k.a. Texas. ;>
I dunno, is this a place to talk about what fics we do and don't review
and why? I have to admit, I won't review a fic I didn't particularly care
for -- not only do I not want to have to read the *!%!#?! thing through
to the end ^_^, but I just can't find the heart say something really
nasty and cutting about a fic the way Jhon can. :) And there are some
fics that simply don't catch my interest... and finally there's the time
factor. There are just too many fics out there that I'd be interested in
reviewing, and I seem to be incapable of just sitting down and dashing
something off; I usually have to sit and analyze it as I write, so a good
review usually takes me a minimum of two-three days to finish in my...
ahem... *copious* spare time. :)
Too many fics, not enough time...
