Unattractive? Only in the anime. In the manga he looks almost normal....
maybe even cute. As for loser, well gee... not everyone can be a super
god-like martial artist. It's kinda nice to see a character who's not.

Though I wish he had a better hair style and no heavy lines under the
eyes... but then, his parents look like that, too.

Everyone has a hobby. His is occult and photography. So what if Fanfic

No, he's a wanna be Shinto priest which isn't quite the occult.

Then you obviously haven't seen episode 134. He's into occult. no, not
just into priest stuff, all mystical things. In 134, he gets a ghost for a
girlfriend. he's showing her some of his possessions. MOST of which were
items of witchcraft, not priestly at all.

writers make him a potential wizard? He didn't hardly get enough show to
say he had no potential at all as one. He quite clearly was into the
mystics, there's even a picture of his rom in one manga where he has loads
of strange magics. Who's to say if his character hadn't been more
developed, he might not have been a fine mage? I know, speculation, but he
didn't get anywhere near as much airtime as the rest of the main
antagonists, it's unfair to think there's anything wrong with fanfiction
portraying him with potential. :P

But he's a priest not a mage, therefor he wouldn't make a wizard or
anything similar.

Again, even in the manga, his shelves are littered with bits of occult, not
just candles and shinto items. And voodo magic is hardly priestly. He is
into ANY type of magic. Ep #136 shows this rather clearly.

Sorry, guy, that wasn't a knife he had in his hand. :P It was a prop
crowbar. harmless. As for comparing to Shampoo? Hardly. Shampoo is a
deadly martial artist. Gosunkugi is a kid who can't even lift Akane, much
less ride through a wall on a bicycle or toss around iron bonborri like
paperballs. Not a fair comparison.

Even holding a crowbar to someone's neck, which can be easily used to
choak them, is criminal and a threat on Akane's life. Not exactly harmless.

It was a PROP. A stage prop. Totally harmless. And how would you use a
stage prop crowbar to choak someone the way Gosunkugi was holding it?? As
if he would do such a thing to Akane.

He told only Kunou, I'd hardly call 'exposing' as that would imply he told
everyone, which he did not. And maybe you missed, Gosunkugi put himself in
the same trouble. He was trying to scare Ranma, not kill him, like the
rest seem to want to do.

This is the Hiryushoutenha episode, ne? He definately was joining the
others in trying to kill Ranma. Notice his juujuu doll ended up nailed
in Ryouga's umbrella? Ryouga blocked the attacks from Ranma's body. That
doll would have been hammered into Ranma...

I'd have to see it. I know of only 5 manga books where Gosunkugi actually
appears and does anything of signifigance. I haven't seen this one. As to
the doll being hammered to Ranma, somehow I doubt it.

And I notice how you managed to leave out anything good he did do. Yeah, I
guess when all you do is point out the flaws in a character, you can make
anyone look like a complete and total jerk. You know, there ARE positive
examples, too. Maybe that's what the fanfic writers look at. He's the
easiest to sway to a good character.

You should go point out his positive things like this one pointed out
negative things so people can compare them.

You know, I did do that a little sometime ago. Anything I said that was in
his favor was dismissed more or less. Maybe I'll do just that, but I'm
wondering if it wil be worth my time to do so.
