Believe it or not, I have it direct from the author that this one is
finished (and I got that word about a week after the completed version of it
hit RAAS).  She has no current intention of going back to it, although she
hasn't totally ruled out the possiblity.  That's why it's titled the way

it is.

	Hmm; perhaps I missed a portion?  The version I have is titled
Chapter-1.  I'll download it again and take another look.

No need...  At the risk of totally embarrassing myself (OK, I AM about to
embarrass myself), I got TE confused with another 'fic.  This is what Carmen
had to say about TE when we exchanged e-mail last October:

Since POW is listed as Chapter 1 (with 5 parts), I'm assuming that there
will be more coming down the line eventually.  It will be interesting to see

Just started initial notes and planning for Chapter Two, which will be 
entitled "Children of a Lesser God". It's set in 2042, eight years after 
the end of Chapter One...

since I wrote it.

	Hmm, not mine.  I kept the version that first appeared on RAAS - I
wonder if it was truncated and Megazone re-posted it? 

If it is only about 3 pages long, and the story ends with a fade-out
discussion between IRene and Sylia, followed by 'Owari', followed by 'author
chat', you've got the whole thing.  (it's also on this ML's remailer)

My point is, if I'd been sending the story in pieces to RAAS before it was
finished I wouldn't have *been* able to make all those changes because it
would have been too late.  And if I'd ultimately decided to abandon the
project, I would have embarrassed myself for having an incomplete and
abandoned fic out on the net.

	M'hmm, although RAAS/RAAC is a little different in that it's really a
pain in the neck for moderators to have to insert re-worked story pieces into
a 'fic (unless the thing has its own directory and is posted in chapters (as
I'd prefer for DC)).

Zoner has said many times that you'd best have a *very* good reason for
uploading story changes.  Who knows what the policy of the new moderator(s)
will be.
