spam /spaam/ - (n) 1. That disgusting reconstituted meat stuff.
2. Messages posted to multiple newsgroups, usually off-topic.
3. (' round here :) Off-topic messages that most people prefer you take to
private e-mail. Too much of it and you WILL be thrown off the FFML. Just ask
Firehawk (sp?).

We recently had a few 'Spam Wars' on the FFML (actually, it was more like a
flame war. Oh well). Avoid touching off spam wars whenever possible, as it
causes our poor little ML to get clogged with spam.

In short: Avoid spam whenever possible. A little spamming is okay. DO NOT
HESITATE TO POST FANFICS! DO NOT HESITATE TO MAKE COMMENTS ABOUT FANFICS!
DO NOT HESITATE TO REACH OUT! That's what we're here for!
