	It's probably because whoever does the OAV and the anime thought it would be 
more interesting to insert lots of Akane bad cooking parts.  
 

I've only seen hher say that in fanfics... if it's in the manga, please
remind me... -_-  I think that Shampoo's just too stupid to figure out
that Ranma doesn't love her.

	Sometimes it's hard to tell between fanfic and reality, but you're probably 
right.  Then again, I try to think best for anyone, even Shampoo.  I also have the 
illusion that everyone knows about the Ranma and Akane relationship and should just 
leave them alone.  ^_^
