Well, I don't know much Italian but I do know a lot of Spanish.
Uh, didn't Caesar speak Latin?
Anyway, Venir is "to come" in spanish and ver is "to see" in spanish.
Veni is "I came" in Spanish(I think anyway) and vi is "I saw" in spanish.
So, probably I conquered woudl be something pretty close to "to conquer"
in spanish but I can't find my spanish-english dictionary right now so I
can't help much.
