Sailor Jupiter narrowly escaped being struck by the robot again, and
simply wasn't strong enough to fight this thing hand to hand, as much as
she would have liked to. But the robot's back was turned, and Sailor
Venus' chain slammed into the machine from the back, percing its main
power generator and shutting most of its functions down. Jupiter
followed up with a blast of Sparkling Wide Pressure, and the robot was
destroyed in a flash of flying metal, burnt circuits, and a loud crash.

Prometheus watched as the robot was destroyed. He was sparring with
Sailor Moon, if it could be called that. She might be powerful, but she
was just dodging flames for the moment. Prometheus sensed something, and
he turned his head to the side, wondering what was happening. Sailor
Moon tried to use her scepter just then. With a sudden movement
Prometheus flicked his left wrist with a sudden backhand twist, and
Sailor Moon's scepter was knocked out of her hand, a small knife falling
to the ground close by, as Sailor Moon clutched her wrist.

Another rose struck the wall where Frost last stood as the latter dodged
to his right with blinding speed. He took another knock in the face from
Tuxedo Mask's cane. Frost sent another blast of ice against another wall
as Amy tried to make some sense of it all, her thoughts all confused in
her head as Tuxedo Mask's latest rose pierced a barrier put up by Frost.
Frost narrowly escaped the attack, but stumbled forward. Tuxedo Mask's
heel struck him under the chin as the former's leg went vertical,
knocking Frost back. Tuxedo Mask leapt towards him, spun around, and
slammed him in the upper chest, sending Frost flying across the room.

Tuxedo Mask turned to Amy, and said, "Amy! Frost knows your identity.
Don't hold back! Transform, now!" Amy was too confused _not_ to listen.
She raised her hand into the air, and said, "Mercury Star Power!" Amidst
bubbles of water and a misty fog, she emerged as Sailor Mercury. But her
first expression was one of horror as she yelled, "Tuxedo Mask, look
out!"

Frost was back.

Tuxedo Mask turned just in time as a huge wave of blue energy slammed
his entire chest. Tuxedo Mask was pushed by the incredibly powerful
blast straight back through the air, and was knocked backwards through a
window, glass and plastic flying. Tuxedo Mask fell from the second
storey room, and Sailor Moon, in the midst of battle below, called for
her love, pleading for Tuxedo Mask's safety, futilely. But Tux gathered
his senses, and as he fell, he followed the momentum, and finished a
sumersault in the air as he dropped to the ground, landing on his feet
and falling immediately to his knees, hurt, but not out.

Prometheus was alone against three Senshi. Not good. Prometheus didn't
like the odds, and this mission was scratched. He began running towards
near where Tuxedo Mask had fallen, ignoring the fallen hero. Jupiter
raced after him, Venus right behind, as Sailor Moon rushed, rather, to
Tuxedo Mask, no longer worried about her companions, who could take care
of themselves by her estimation.

Sailor Mercury was angry now, and all thoughts of fear vanished from her
mind. She yelled at Frost, "You'll pay for that!"

Frost laughed as a haunting blue glow surrounded his body and his eyes
began to glow in the same color. His power was reaching its full
potential, here, now. He revelled in the sensation. Sailor Mercury knew
what was going on, and needed to act, fast.

She attacked, "Shabon Spray!", stepped back and released her bubbles,
covering the area in mist. Frost couldn't see his target for a few
moments as he tried to feel his way around the area. He gave up, and an
arctic wind blew away the mist. Sailor Mercury was nowhere to be seen.
Frost never let his guard down.

Or so he thought...

He noticed too late where Sailor Mercury was, _above_ him, holding onto
one of the skylights. She released her powers against him, with the
words, "Shining Aqua Illusion!!", and Frost was further distracted as he
was surrounded by cold power. It didn't harm him, and couldn't, either.
He knew where Mercury was, and a blast of arctic cold brought her
crashing down, falling to the floor. Frost recovered.

Before Amy could register the movement, Frost used his powers and slid
across the ground, lunging at her, and slammed her in the abdomen with
his mechanical fist extended, blowing her back through the air, landing
on the ground, and clutching her mid-section in pain.

Frost took a few more steps closer.

Then the door swung open.

Sailor Mars was standing there, and she was not in a good mood.

"It's over, Frost. Prepare to have your ice melted! Fire..... SOUL!!!"
Frost gritted his teeth as flames erupted around him. He fought back,
firing four ice shards at her, but Mars leaped to the side. Frost had a
backup plan. He fired at the floor, and the carpet suddenly turned to
rough ice. Mars, with her high heels, had no footing whatsoever, and her
exposed legs scraped against the rough edges as she fell down.

Then Frost's head burst into excruciating pain as he was struck from
behind. He fell to his knees, momentarily stunned. Sailor Mercury stood
behind him, holding a metal waste paper basket, empty but now dented,
where Frost had just been standing. She saw the look on Sailor Mars'
face, though, and leapt to the side, taking cover behind a table turned
on its side during the fight.

Sailor Mars' shoes had slipped off. She was barefoot, her legs under
her, kneeling, her shins and toes freezing against this ice, but she
didn't care. She took it one of her anti-evil charms, and yelled, "Rin!
Piyo! To! Sha! Kai! Jin! Retsu! Sai! Zen!" The magical power of the
scroll seemed to burn against the low temperature as she threw the
scroll forward. Then she pressed her fingers together, and flame began
to erupt again from them, launching the fame with the words, "Fire Soul
BIRD!!!" The flame combined with the scroll, forming into her Firebird,
which flew straight and true to Frost as he tried to get up, barely able
to.

Then the Firebird slammed into his chest.

The impact, the spiritual magic, and the force of the fire was simply
too much. Frost was too weak, too drained, and off balance. His body
erupted in flames, and now Frost was blasted back, out of the shattered
window, and fell freely, unconcious, towards the earth below.

Prometheus watched, yelling, "FROST!!" He crouched, then he leaped.

The warrior of fire leaped as Frost fell, catching him, reversing the
momentum, and carrying him with the same force upwards, and upwards,
above the university. Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus just reached the
spot he was just at, and both stared upwards completely surprised at the
sudden turn of events. Sailor Moon had looked up just as Frost's burning
body had been thrown out of the building, and then she knew that Sailor
Mars had come through. Tuxedo Mask watched, too, as they held each other
in their arms.

Prometheus landed on top of the building, but Frost was still burning.
He acted quickly, and laid his hands on Frost's chest. His ring and his
gauntlets glowed and the energy of the fire was absorbed into his
gauntlets. Then, once the flames had been absorbed, Prometheus raised
his ring skyward, facing the sun, and the absorbed flame erupted from
his hand like a solar flare.

The energy expended, he looked to his badly injured comerade. He shook
his head. Then, he picked Frost up, holding his back and legs. In a
pillar of fire, both vanished.

Mars asked, "Mercury, are you alright? Are you okay now?" Slowly, Amy
nodded. She'd be alright eventually. She knew that now.

She studied the room. The ice was melting. She walked over to Mars and
helped her get up, their arms locked together as Sailor Mercury pulled
so Mars could get on her chilly feet. Mars said, "I'll probably catch
cold from this." Mercury laughed, heartily, the first good laugh she'd
had for a long while.

Mars asked, "What happened?" Sailor Mercury's face went blank, her
pupils became smaller as she recounted the events to herself. She said,
"It's a long story..."

Then she noticed Frost's computer, still lying on the console he had
worked at all this time. A computer, all black.

Prometheus entered the darkened room, and saw Princess Serenity, dressed
in white, her back turned to him as she stared out into the darkness.
She heard him come in, he knew, because her head had shifted slightly.
He said, "It's me," and she recognized his voice.

She turned around. Around her eyes, he could see clearly that she had
been crying. She looked at him, more tears coming on, though many had
already been spent, as she said, "It's all my fault..." Then she
collapsed into tears, her face buried in the palms of her hands as she
wept. Prometheus went to her, and grapsed her wrists, firmly, and he
said even more firmly, "No! It's not your fault. Don't even think that!
Serenity..." he said, he called her name out, gently. She looked at him,
needing him now, needing all of them.

She fell into his arms, and against his armor, against her pillar of
support, she cried, more than she ever had before in her short life.

The Cherry Hill Temple

Luna said, "Amy, you can't blame yourself for what happened." Amy was
still crying herself, and this wasn't helping. Artemis didn't know what
to do. Amy had told her story, always with difficulty and frequently
broken up by sobs. She just wasn't over it, and might not be for a long
time. Serena, though, shifted closer to Amy, and comforted her. She
looked at Luna, and said, leaving no room for question in her voice,
"That's enough."

Luna didn't know what she did wrong. Mina just laid it out for her, and
said it very simply, very gently, "She had feelings for him, Luna. Do
you understand that?" Luna suddenly realized the truth of the
observation. Somberly, she nodded.

Serena was helping out a lot now. Amy felt much better, and managed a
smile as she sniffled again, and tried to wipe away her tears as Serena
told her, "It's okay." Rei just stood, as she was standing close by, and
watched. She couldn't help now, not more than Serena was doing already,
but she genuinely felt really bad for Amy. This was a complete shock to
her, and for that matter, Rei never suspected him, either. Blast it, if
only they had known.

Amy gathered herself now, and surprised everyone as she started to talk,
still in a meek voice, but with a strong heart: "Guys, we have to stop
them. We have to."

It took a moment for that determination to register on their faces, but
they all nodded. They all agreed. This had gone far enough, Mina
thought. It's time to put an end to this, Lita said to herself, as she
clenched her teeth inside her mouth, something no one else could see
right now. Rei thought, We can't let them succeed, not if they're going
to hurt people like this, no, they would not win. They would see to
that.

Serena said, "Okay, Amy. We'll do it," she said, and turned to the
others, who quickly nodded.

"We'll do it together."

(The End)

Next episode: I'm not sure what I'll do for this one, but chances are
it'll bring back the Rainbow Crystal carriers. Remember Rita? Well she's
back from Africa, and Zeus has her number, so watch out for biological
warfare as the Sailor Senshi fight yet another foe from the past.
