I hope you've been waiting for this :) I know I have, and I was writing
it! It's back to writing for me. Unfortunately my day was a little too
full today to do much... but it's a long night and a long day tomorrow.
I'll come up with something :)

This episode stars Ami-chan and her evil counterpart, Frost.

"Heart of Ice, Sword of Fire"

A ventilation panel in the ceiling of the brightly lit room moved out of
its normal alignment. Steadied by a tiny harpoon implanted in it, the
panel was lowered to the floor without making a sound. Tabi boots and
feminine legs tightly covered in black, locked together and aiming
straight down, were lowered down through the opening. A swing back, then
forward, into a reverse summersault, and she was in.

She was a ninja known as the mysterious Bishoujo Mask, auburn-haired and
covered in a rather complete, and tight, black suit, with tabi boots
(which, however, had much lighter colored soles underneath), and a black
veil, if it could be called a veil, though it was more of a scarf, more
of a mask, indeed, than anything else. She was armed, dangerous, and on
the alert.

There were no sirens sounding yet. The ninja ran along a corridor lit by
artificial light, silently. She turned a corner and saw the expected
guard. Before he could react, she sent him reeling into unconciousness
with a spinning back kick to the chin. The guard falled to the ground,
his keys falling into the possession of the ninja, who left without a
second thought.

A minute later she heard the faint sound of electric motors, oversized
though they were. Sentries. Two security robots, moving around as if on
a unicycle, with a single wheel and a domed head with sensors - but
armed and dangerous - moved down a corridor towards her. A half second
later two daggers penetrated the robots up to the hilt. After a few
snaps of electricity, the robots deactivated.

She descended to a lower floor, and had a serious problem here: A large
steel door, as strong as the armor plate of a WWII battleship and
probably almost as thick, blocked her path. It was held shut by a
computer lock, operated from the main computer.

---

Back at the console he was using at the Jubei University, the young
computer genius known locally as Chris Kazuko scrambled at breathtaking
speeds to type the proper commands into the machine. Before him was a
link to the main computer network at the Ratka Security Corporation. The
entire security grid was at his fingertips. He needed to move quickly.
Just a little longer...

Blue lights blinked on the screen. The code had been cracked.

---

The lights on the computer lock flashed a uniform green, and the massive
lock of the door let go. Bishoujo Mask opened the door, went inside, and
closed it.

She was in.

---

He couldn't disable everything, but Ratka couldn't hide everything from
him. Not with his advance preparation, which had taken days to properly
plan. Just so that everything would go as planned. All the alarms had
been disabled. There would be no help forthcoming. Most of the defenses
had been deactivated.

---

In a room best described as an armory without actual weapons remained
the prize of this expedition: The V-0329X Security Robot. The X
designated an experimental machine, a convention among researchers.
Housed within a protective casing, rigged into place and carefully
monitored by a wide variety of diagnostic machines, this machine was
meant to protect the city from the same kind of enemies that would soon
take control over it.

The lock of this chamber.... another computerzied lock... was opened
with a large "thud".

---

Trouble ahead.

Laser beams.

Bishoujo Mask's hazel irises changed their tint, becoming reddish. Now
the beams were clear to her. She knew where they were located. She had
rehearsed for this. She just had to to it right.

She raised her arms, balanced herself, then lunged forward.

She preformed a dizzying array of flips, summersaults, rolls, and came
out on the other side, with perfect form.

She congradgulated herself, then moved on.

---

The door opened and Bishoujo Mask stepped through.

She walked up to the robot, studying it. It was quite a piece of work.
About seven feet tall, well armored, very broad. She attached a tiny
cord into a small outlet in the robot's chest, attached to a small
compact of hers, colored white. It was out of place, but it had enough
storage space for the program that was being transferred to the robot.
Less than a half minute passed. She was done, and now had to concentrate
on her escape plan, somewhat different than her entry.

It would require covering her tracks.

---

The guard regained conciousness with a headache. He did not have long to
think before he was pulled up by his suit. He opened his eyes. He saw
deep bluish-grey eyes, through the lenses of thin glasses, staring into
his eyes. Then the voice spoke, "You will remember only what I tell you,
old man..." the man groaned, but his eyes were fixed into that of his
enemy, and his mind began to drift away...

---

She heard the flapping of wings, and knew that she really had waited too
long. Bird feed was scattered along the stone steps of the Cherry Hill
Temple, and the two ravens, named Phobos and Deimos, swiftly flew down
to the ground, cawing all the way, eager to feed. Rei smiled, and said,
"There you go, sorry, I've been away. I hope you understand." Sometimes
it was easier for her to talk about her problems to her pets. Of course,
unlike Luna and Artemis, they couldn't talk back. That wasn't the point.
Besides, she could sense how they felt sometimes, and she believed that
they could sense how she felt, too. Now, as they fed contently, Rei
sensed they were all feeling better now.

Rei still had work to do. No rest when there was a big temple to sweep
and clean. It was hard, but it was the way she was raised, and the way
she liked it. She was never too busy for a friend, though. Well...
that's what she said, although it wasn't always, completely true. But a
smiling Mina was walking up, with Artemis somewhere down there as
always, and Rei could use the company. It was good to see Mina, good to
see a happy face.

Mina said, not an original greeting but a good one, "Hi!" with a wave of
her hand. Artemis climbed up with a couple of bounds, eyeing the ravens
suspiciously. He wasn't on good terms with them for the time being. He
didn't want any trouble. Mina ignored him - as usual - and was also very
happy to drop by. Rei said, "Hi!" back at her. Rei smiled. Mina asked
her friend, "So, what's up?" Rei waffled on that one... she said, "Not
much, just chores, as usual."

Mina sat down and said that she wanted to talk. Rei saw a certain look
on her face. One of those "looks" she knew so well. One that said, "I
mean it." Grandfather would be angry... but, she asked herself, So? So
Rei sat down, and asked Mina, "Alright, whatever it is, I'd like to hear
it. What is it, Mina?"

Mina was reluctant at first, but...

"Okay," Mina started, "lots of things, but I'll start at the top. You're
feeling alright, right?" Rei answered, "You bet. 100% and counting. I'm
back and better than ever!", with a lot of smiling. Good, Mina thought,
she looked it, too. Mina asked, "Okay... here's another question. Do you
think we're strong enough to take on the Dark Senshi?" Rei stared at
Mina for a long time after that. She thought it was a serious question.
She slowly responded, "No, not yet. But we're getting stronger."

Mina asked, "And what about the clone?"

This was a tougher question. Rei answered, "I think Sailor Moon can take
her on, but I'm not sure how much. It's like she's fighting a mirror
image of herself, and it's going to be tough for her." Mina nodded, that
was something that worried her.

Artemis was getting impatient, and said, "Let me get right to the
point." Mina stared at him, frowning. Artemis didn't have to be
insensitive about it. He continued, "We have no way of knowing when the
Dark Senshi will strike next, or where, except for you, right now. We
need you, and we need you _now_." Rei, surprisingly (to them), didn't
even hesitate to answer, "You've got it, Artemis. I'll do everything I
can." Rei immediately began to stand up, but Mina grasped her hand, and
brought her back down. She said in an even tone, "I'm not finished."

Not even Artemis had any idea what was going on.

Mina said, "There are two things that are really bugging me right now.
The first is that we _know_ where one of the Dark Senshi is, we know
what he's up to, and we're _not_ doing anything about it." Artemis
added, "You mean Lance Stockton, right?" Mina nodded and said, "If
that's his real name." Rei asked, "Okay, now what's the other thing?"

Mina said that was private, for her ears only.

Amy and Lita were chatting in the arcade when Serena and Darien walked
in, holding hands. Darien seemed to be cheerful for someone who had
recently been injured, just last night. This was around lunchtime, and
Serena was oh-so-hungry. They sat down, opposite each other, to sit with
Amy and Lita, who were glad to see their friend Serena here.

Lita asked, "So, Darien, how's the shoulder?" Darien tried avoiding the
question... but he finally came around, "It's fine, it's healing really
well. Serena means well, but sometimes she's a little, well,
inexperienced as a nurse." Serena was not pleased. "DARIEN!" she said,
"I tried my best! It's not my fault some stupid werewolf attacked you!"
Amy and Lita told her, "Keep it _down_!!!" Amy said, "Serena, you
should't go telling everyone within a hundred yards what we were doing
as Sailor Senshi last night. It was all over the news. Serena said,
"Really?", now curious. "Gee," she said, "I never noticed..."

Darien asked, "So what were you talking about, girls?"

Lita blurted, "We were talking about Amy's new boyfriend." Amy blushed
like she hadn't blushed for a loooong time!! She was really embarassed.
Serena said, "LITA! You shouldn't say things like that. Look, you're
embarassing Amy." Lita said, "Well it's the truth," and said, "He's a
really cool guy, too. Darien, you should know him, Chris Kazuko?"
Something suddenly occured to Darien, who then said, "Say, Amy, I could
use a favor from you." Serena looked at Darien, wondering what this
could be, curiously. Amy replied, "Sure, anything. You can count on me."
Darien smiled, and said, "I've been doing some research on genetic
engineering. You don't need to tell him this but it's about cloning
processes." Amy understood. She said, "You're doing research on that
clone, right?" Serena asked, "Darien, what do you... have in mind?"

Darien looked back to Serena, glanced at Lita, and glanced back at
Serena before continuing to speak his private thoughts. He slumped back
a little in his seat, and said to them all, "What we need is clues into
this person. She's obviously leading the Dark Senshi now, and seems to
have taken over. She may be the most powerful among them, after all, she
has Sailor Moon's powers." Serena was trying to follow. Amy nodded, and
Lita just sat there, staring. Darien continued, "She's on her own,
except for a few people, and maybe those demons and other monsters. We
need to understand what's going on, why they're still fighting."

Lita had different thoughts. She began, "Darien, isn't it obvious? They
want to take over the world. Isn't that enough?" Darien asked, "Then why
don't you do it?" That drew a total blank from Lita for two long
seconds. Then she said, "Well," almost losing her composure but quickly
recovering, "because it's _wrong_, that's why! Because you don't stomp
on people and be a bully to get what you want."

Serena asked, "What's on your mind?" Amy was listening attentively.

Darien said, "I don't think that this so-called Princess Serenity is
totally evil. Maybe the others aren't either. After all, they're not
from the Dark Kingdom." Lita interrupted, "Jadeite chose them for a
reason." Darien nodded, and said, "Yes, but I'm not so sure about her.
Now that the Prince of Devils has been destroyed, what's driving her?"
Serena was confused, "I thought that they were just going on with it
because, well, that's what they do." Amy decided to respond to that.
"Remember the Weird Sisters?" she said, "They weren't so evil deep down
inside, they were just so mislead and filled with evil and hatred."

Serena asked, "Alright, so what do we do about it?"

There was no easy answer. No one could answer that, and they were all
shaking their heads.

---

Rei said, "I'm getting something..." as the sacred flame burned...

She said suddenly, "Turn on the TV in the other room." The... order...
surprised both Mina and the ever-attentive Artemis. Not only was it odd,
but Rei said it as if she really, really knew something was going on,
something beyond doubt. Rei's confidence actually bothered Mina for some
strange reason. It was a strange situation, but Mina trusted Rei, too
much to consider ignoring the... she supposed it was a command. Well
she'd listen.

Mina walked into the other room of the temple, certainly not the only
room but the only one with a television set, a black and white one at
that. Mina made sure the rabbit ears were deployed properly - for some
reason they reminded her of Serena's hairdoo, and she giggled at the
thought - she turned on the dial, pumping up the volume. Grandfather
wasn't around just now, Rei had said that he and Chad were gone
shopping. Atremis listened as a reporter began talking...

"...Ratka Security Corporation will unveil a revolutionary type of
security robot intended to finally defend the city against the
mysterious creatures, which recent reports say are youma and demons,
once and for all. The experimental V-0329X machine is designed to
overcome any threat from spirit creatures with a combination of
technological power and artificial intelligence. A press conference is
scheduled for 6pm this evening. Channel 5 news, reporting."

Mina exclaimed, "The nerve! You'd think they were trying to take OUR
job! Artemis, we have to put a stop to this, right now!!" Artemis lifted
his front right paw over his face and shook his head.

They could hear Rei in the other room as Mina turned the TV off,
"There's more..." The others quickly entered the room.

Rei was concentrating, but seemed, disturbingly, relaxed. Artemis
thought, how can she be like this so soon after what happened yesterday?
She should be at least a little bothered. Mina was thinking along the
same lines. Well, beggers couldn't be choosers.

Rei said to them, "I'm getting a clear picture. There will be a battle
at the unveiling. The robot... will be controlled by the enemy!" Wow,
they thought. Rei continued, "Something else, too... I can't pinpoint a
reading." Artemis commented, "So we have to be on our guard." Rei
nodded.

---

"But..." Joe mouthed, "but.... WHY?"

Joe was normally a cool guy, in the sense of having calm nerves. Not too
much took him by surprise... like this. His new girlfriend, Jane, a
really hot brunette and a sexy nurse, just broke up with him.

Her left hand stuck to her hip like glue, as she twisted it in
annoyance, she said to him in a firm voice, "Because you're a
good-for-nothing lowlife spineless jerk, that's why. I'm bored with you.
We had fun, and now it's time to move on." Her or him? He wondered.
Both, likely. He yelled at her, "What did _I_ do?!?" She yelled back, "I
just don't like you. There. And that's IT!" Then she walked out of his
apartment on him.

It wasn't supposed to be this way... Joe sighed. Guess it wasn't meant
to be. Usually, if someone was going to do the dumping, it was him. And
she was a gorgeous woman, too. Oh well... Joe would get over it,
eventually.

---

Elsewhere, a little brown-haired child gasped as her balloons escaped
her grasp and floated far upwards in the sunny sky. "Oh NO!" A minor
loss, perhaps, but she didn't think so, and began to cry.

A young woman, dressed with sandals and long white pants, knelt beside
the child, and began to comfort her in a gentle voice. This wasn't her
mother, though, her mother was a little ways off. The little child
looked up at the gentle woman, whose face shone in the bright sunlight
on this day. Serenity lifted a lollipop up so that the child could see
it, and said, "Here you go, don't cry." The little girl took the
lollipop and began sucking on it, and broke out in a huge smile.

Then, all of a sudden, the tyke turned around and ran for her mommy,
giggling.

Serenity stood up, quite satisfied with herself. She looked around at
the moderate crowd that was all about today, especially since school was
out.

This was her first real trip inside the city, and it took a lot of
convincing to get Frost off her back about it. She had an escort,
though. Alex was right beside her, and commented, behind the shield of
his black and heavily filtered sunglasses, "That was nice of you."
Serenity smiled, still pleased with herself. Alex had to smile too.

"So," he asked, "what next?"

Serenity smiled and laughed. She hadn't felt this good for a long time.
She said to him, "There's so much to see, so much to enjoy!"

Alex said, "It's not all fun and games, though. There's a dark side to
this world." She said, "That doesn't matter. At least...." she said,
"at least not now."

Alex continued, "There's still Frost's mission." She looked at him, and
instantly he regreted bringing that mission up. Her smile faded, not
completely, but enough to tear at him viciously. She looked at him, and
told him, "You're right, you know. We have to succeed in our mission,
which is to rule this earth." Alex said to her, "Remember, we're trying
to save the world, not destroy it." She said, "I know... I just want to
enjoy it a little."

Alex took her by the arm, leading her off, saying, "You can enjoy it
more than a little. And we can handle the rest of the details. You
should enjoy it a lot." She asked him, "Do you really think so?" Wanting
to make sure she understood, he said, "No matter what, we'll stick by
you, Serenity. That's the important thing."

She smiled, and told him, "Thank you. For being here." Alex said,
"Anytime."

He felt just a little guilty, since he really wanted to be with Mina.
But he had a job to do, after this. Looking at his Princess, so close to
him, he decided that this, right here, was worthwhile, too. He laughed
to himself a little about it, and Serenity laughed too.

---

Chris was paying attention to his console when he heard two knocks on
the door to the computer lab. At least, this section of it. He was
surprised that anyone would be here, and wondered if that would be a
problem when the action began later. He said, curiously, "Come in." The
door swung open, and he saw Amy walk in, with a smile. He bit his lip as
he saw her. Amy was dressed in shorts cut rather high, cute light blue
ones that went along with the short-sleeved shirt she was wearing, and
her usual blue hair, which was bobbing around as she entered the room
with a comfortable laugh. He looked down her exposed legs, to her feet,
and examined her fine leather sandals, which complimented her entire
figure. What a time for a distraction like this, Frost thought.

Amy was carring a yellow handbag, and she reached into it and pulled out
her little computer. (She had the Mercury sign hidden, though, with a
little extra plastic on the cover. Just to be on the safe side.) She
asked Chris, "Hi, how are you doing and what are you up to?" Chris said,
"Fine, and I'm just doing more research."

Amy pulled over a chair and sat down, crossing her legs. Chris tried to
keep his eyes looking at hers, on the level. He reminded himself of the
important work he had to do. Then he flexed his left hand, and
remembered why he was here.

Getting comfortable in her chair, Amy asked Chris a few questions
offhand. One of them, which caught Chris' attention, was Darien's
questions about genetic engineering. Chris saw through the question
right away, but Amy didn't mention that they were Darien's questions.
She only asked the questions herself. Chris thought to himself, she's
getting too close. I probably won't be able to hide my secret from her
much longer, especially if she gets _this_ close.

Amy asked, "So anyway, maybe you could tell me what you know, what do
you think?"

His reply was, "I don't think so."

He stood up, and had no trace of a smile on his face. Amy wondered what
was wrong.

---

Lita asked, "Rei, what's wrong?"

Rei was having another attack of killer headaches. This was even though
they had their plans together, they were going to be right nearby the
unveiling of the robot tonight, just to be sure. Something else was
wrong, though... Serena was still close, even though Darien had gone off
on his own; he had errands to take care of, and was working this
evening. Serena asked, "Rei? Are you alright?"

Rei's eyes snapped open, and she exclaimed, "Amy's in trouble. We have
to go to her NOW!"

---

Amy asked, "What... what's wrong?"

Chris pushed in his chair as he stood, frowning. Amy was worried, for
good reason. Frost was not about to mess around, not this time. He
walked toward Amy, while she just stood there, confused. Then, he
reached across his chest with his left hand, and slapped Amy across the
face, hard, knocking her back. Amy turned due to the sheer force of the
blow, and stumbled to her knees, in complete shock. Meanwhile, the young
man she knew as Chris Kazuko stepped towards her, slowly.

Amy stumbled, but regained some of her footing and backed away, tears in
her eyes due more to the pain and shock than anything else. She looked
up into Chris' eyes, and saw nothing but coldness, nothing, at all. She
backed up against another computer console nearby, and asked meekly,
"What are you doing?", tears still flowing from her eyes, her jaw only
now beginning to ache from the blow.

Chris said, "Amy, Amy. You have no idea what you have gotten yourself
into."

---

Alex was reeling in pain. Serenity was concerned almost to the point of
panic. Luckily no one else was around to see the red light pouring from
Alex's ring, flooding the area around his hand. She tried to comfort
him, to try to ease his pain, because certainly he looked like he was in
agony, but the light from the ring subsided, and Alex stood upright for
the first time in what seemed like an eternity.

An eternity was a long time though, this wasn't. Alex regained his
composure and told Serenity he was alright, but added, "Something's up.
I have to go, now." Serentity grabbed his arm, and pulled on it, saying
to him, "Don't just leave me like this!", tears beginning to form in her
eyes, her concern very grave. Alex pulled away, though. "Something's
wrong, I can _feel_ it. Frost could be in serious trouble. It's in the
job description, I know what I signed up for and this is it. Sorry that
it's so sudden, Serentiy."

Then he left.

As he did so, he pulled out of his jacket a small device, which looked
like a portable telephone. He punched in a code on it, and replaced it
into its previous place.

---

A few miles away, the electronic coding arrived at its destination. The
V-0329X robot's eyes glowed red as the activation program was
acknowledged. A team of technicians, oblivious to the danger, gaped as
the monitors connected to the robot began to indicate that the robot was
active. The robot emerged from its open, vertical, pod-like steel
casing, and stepped forward, violently ripping the insulated cords
connected to sensitive scientific instruments. Two guards entered the
room, pulling out pistols, which were promptly shot out of their hands
by the two smaller security robots in the room, which were programmed by
Frost personally, and were completely phony.

Forty seconds later, the robot blasted a hole in the roof of the Ratka
Security Corp. headquarters, and the rocket jet pack mounted on its back
ignited. The robot flew into the air.

---

Amy breathed, "...why?"

Her former friend - if he had been that - laughed evilly. He said to the
frightened girl, "Your ignorance is stunning for such an intelligent
girl. While your intelligence approaches mine you are far too
gulliable."

He finished, "Sailor Mercury."

Amy gasped. She was almost sitting down between the console and the
wall, slumped down, but the horror had only just begun.

Chris grabbed his own left wrist, and Amy was completely off guard as
she screamed, as Chris began to remove the synthetic skin and revealed
his mechanical hand. Luckily for her it was just synthetic skin, no
blood, or it would probably have been too much for her. She stared at
his hand. She gasped, and asked him, You're... you're.... a
ROBOT??""Chris" laughed at her. He said, "Far worse, my dear. I'm
disappointed in you. You should remember me."

Then he pulled out his ring, in his right hand.

Amy breathed into the air, "no..."

Chris slipped the ring on the second titanium finger of his left hand.
Then he stretched out his arm, his hand curled in a fist. Amy still
could not believe it, not until she saw it.

She did.

Chris yelled, "Frost Power. Transform!"

The ring glowed with blue energy as a cold wind surrounded him. He
closed his eyes momentarily as his glasses shielded them from the
onslaught of the driving sleet that blew back his hair, which became
nearly white as he reverted to his most natural form. His hair became a
bluish white, and grew long again. His cape materialized and the strong
winds buffeted it backwards. His suit, reminicent of the generals of the
Dark Kingdom in color and somewhat in style, replaced his more casual
clothing. His shoes turned into stronger, blacker boots, and his hands
were covered once more in snow white gloves. He opened his eyes, the
transformation complete.

Amy was shaking uncontrollably.

---

Sailor Mars was leading the other Senshi to the Juban University once
she emphatically convinced them that Amy was not only here, but in big
trouble. Sailor Moon was right behind her, followed by the others,
Sailor Jupiter, her hair jumping behind her as she ran with her long
strides, and Sailor Venus, covering the rear with Luna and Artemis
flanking her.

Then the sky turned bright red, and the Senshi scattered at the last
moment as an enormous fireball crashed into the ground where they once
stood. Above them, Prometheus descended slowly to the ground,
excercising what little powers of flight he possessed.

Artemis' ears perked up. Venus heard it, too, and yelled, "Everyone LOOK
OUT!" Once again the Senshi avoided a powerful blast, this time from the
security robot from the Ratka Corp. Luna exclaimed, "They must be
controlling it! Fight them, Sailor Moon!" Sailor Moon nodded in
agreement,

---

Now Amy was uncontrollably angry, yelling at Frost. She yelled, "You
monster!! _You're_ the one who sent that robot to attack Serena.
_You're_ the one who tried to make me hurt her." Tears in her eyes, she
yelled, "You _used_ me!" She felt like this man, this monster, had
committed the ultimate act of betrayal, the worst thing anyone could do
to her.

Frost said, "Please, spare me." A wave of his hand, and blue magic
blasted her back, crumpling her against the computer console, and Amy
grunted in pain.

---

"Supreme THUNDER!" Lightning focused itself inside Sailor Jupiter's
body. The tips of her hair stood on their ends as she built the energy
up. Then she lunged forward, releasing the energy in an aggressive
strike, aiming it squarely at the security robot. The robot, a titanium
rod in its right hand, put its left forearm in front of it, using
built-in shielding to attempt to block the attack. The energy flowed
into the robot, popping a few circuits but nothing serious except a
singed shield. Then, the robot lunged forward to strike.

Sailor Mars was running ahead, towards the university, leaving this
battle to the others, despite Sailor Moon's yelling asking her what she
was doing and why. Sailor Moon should know better, she thought. Besides,
she knew her powers weren't worth as much against Prometheus as they
would be against.... who? She didn't know. She couldn't put her finger
on it, but she knew one thing: She had to hurry.

Prometheus fired a bolt of fire at Sailor Moon, which she easily dodged.
Sailor Venus fired a quick crescent beam. Prometheus altered the angle
of his right forearm, and his magical bronze armor deflected it away,
harmlessly, into the sky.

---

Blue power surrounded Frost's ring as he aimed it as Amy. Amy was
frightened, more frightened than she had ever been, as she looked up at
the power that threatened to finish her off. The glow grew stronger.

A split second later the hand was knocked to the side, pierced in the
center by a red rose. Electronics snapped as the power of the rose
damaged the hand greatly, and Amy looked up to see, standing within the
room with an open window right behind him, Tuxedo Mask, his cape flowing
behind him, the red of his cape showing visibly. Tuxedo Mask was holding
both cane and rose as Frost stumbled back to look at his assailant.

Frost gripped the rose embedded in his hand with his right hand, and,
scratching it on the thorns, he pulled the rose out.White energy
extended from the ring to his hand, and seemed to have a beneficial
effect as Frost flexed the mechanical hand, still covered in the white
