RANMA 1/2:
                        SCHLOCK TREATMENT

 PRELIMINARY NOTES:
 
    Okay, call me a nut, call me a loser, call me an idiot for doing 
the sequel before the original film, but here it is, the first (as 
far as I know anyway) musical "Ranma 1/2" fanfic, based on the movie 
"Shock Treatment."
    "Shock Treatment" (ST) was the 1981 semi-sequel to "The Rocky 
Horror Picture Show" and has since gained it's own following. While 
most people who've seen the film will say it was awful, it is an 
interesting quirk that if you watch ST more than once, the movie 
actually gets better.
    Anyway, one day while I was cleaning out the junkyard that serves 
as my room, I came across a parody of ST I had gotten off the Net 
which replaced the original characters with, wait for it, popular 
Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters with "The Flintstones" taking the 
major roles. I re-read "Bedrock Treatment" as it was called and 
thought "Hey! If this Joe Blevins guy can use the Flintstones to 
write a parody of ST, why can't I do it with "Ranma 1/2?"
    Thus, here it is. And for those of you who are wondering why I 
chose to do ST before I did a parody of RHPS, I chose ST because it 
had more characters and, consequently, more roles for the "Ranma" 
regulars. So, without further ado, sit back, grab your popcorn, and 
see tonight's showing of "Schlock Treatment!"

    Also, due to plot continuity, I've had to reshuffle the 
relationships between characters (but not too badly) and change some 
of the attitudes of same. Sorry. This is also a work in progress, 
which means it will be posted in episodes. Remeber, however, that 
this is one whole work and should be read as such. I apologize for 
all forced rhymes in this turkey and the song parodys work much 
better if sung to the original "Shock Treatment" Music.
