do. I kinda figured (if Mr. Wolf is telling the truth,) that Kinuko is in 
the same mold as Kodachi/Shampoo--the 
do-anything-to-get-and-keep-what's-mine type.  Dangerous, ne?

In the same mold, but much less individually dangerous.  But she is in a 
more favourable situation.  In the old situation the arranged marriage 
meant that Akane could (and did) interfere (often violently ^_^) with any 
attempt by her rivals to "romance" Ranma (You can't romance someone 
unconscious from a hammer blow ^_~).

One of the reasons Shampoo & Kodachi use mostly underhanded methods to go 
for Ranma is that Akane (admittedly with Ranma's connivance) is in a 
position to block any effort at a "normal romance".  Ukyou could get closer 
to Ranma, since Ranma normally doesn't try to keep her at arms length, 
but she has to contend with emotional baggage that Shampoo & Kodachi don't.

Kodachi is probably the closest match to Kinuko of the "old" fiancees, but 
Kodachi  was always... "erattic", whereas Kinuko seems far more 
focussed.  Hmmm... and Kodachi will be knocking around in the Careful 
Destiny world, she just hasn't run into Ranma yet - when is the next 
Martial Arts Rythmic Gymnastics tournament scheduled? :-)

Kinuko will be a problem for Ranma, since he can't use his normal tatic 
of hiding behind Akane.  Ranko will be of some help but a sister doesn't 
have quite the same rights as an iinazuke.
