I thought about it some more...Nabiki changed all of a sudden
from teary and angst-ridden in chapters 1-7 and to she's all 
cool and calculating!  Perhaps a detour into her thoughts 
about the proposal would be in order, i understand she likes 
to keep a cool front but what are her true feelings?  
What she said to Akane about "who cares about that Ranma" 
she would have balked at saying before this ep.
