I wish you didn't feel you needed to say this. We get enough of
this sort of thing from Gryphon. Otherwise, I think you're doing a great
job, and I'm intrigued by the directions you're taking the plot. Keep it up.

Sorry - thats *me* your talking about - if you don't like it don't read
it! I'm trying to set up a few things as well for what happens in parts
eight and nine - there's a reason why I choose to reveal that about
*myself* and you'll find out eventually...

Thanks for the comments - sorry if I sound a little defensive but well
I'm not exactly good at taking criticism about my own feelings and
thoughts.... (which is one thing that I think most people *like* about
the story - if it makes you uncomfortable.. tough.. I make no apologise
for how I am...)

Yes, I know I'm talking about you. It doesn't make me
uncomfortable; rather, my initial impression was -- and please forgive me if
I come off as being insensitive -- that it seemed a little tedious. From a
purely technical standpoint, you shouldn't need to include a chunk of
exposition like this. Your purposes would be served much better if it came
out gradually, through your interactions with the other characters. If you
can come up with an approach better than the one taken in Hopelessly Lost or
Street Fighter, more power to you.

I commend you for being honest, and I don't have any problems at all
with your thoughts and feelings. But please try to tell me something I
haven't heard before.
